Overview of Items being taught in 5th grade

MR. GRITTERS'S SUBJECTS

Spelling: 

    Monday - Do 1 - 20

    Tuesday - Do 21 - 40

    Wednesday - Proofreading and Writing out words

    Thursday - No assignment - Study for the test 

     academy, antique, ballet, beret, bouquet, cafeteria, debris, debut, diploma, drama, echo, 

      essay, fatigue, fiesta, gourmet, mosquito, opera, petite, plaque, quartet, sonnet, stampede,

      tornado, unique, and vague.  Extra Credit is a word for a meeting place of two people.

    Friday: Test

Math - Fractions - Adding, subtracting, and multiplying. Plus factors and multiples. 

Social Studies - Unit 10 - Early Transportation in Iowa. 

Bible -  Unit 9 - KIng Jehoram and Elisha's miracles.  Test on Tuesday, March 24. 

Memory -  Psalm 103: 6  - 8 (For Friday, March 27 ) 

          6. The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. 

          7. He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

          8. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
