    personal, personnel, precede, proceed.   Extra Credit hint - Word means to understand the 

    feelings of another person and respond with kindness

Math - Fractions - Adding, subtracting, and multiplying. Plus factors and multiples. 

Social Studies - Unit  - 11 - Iowa Government and Largest Cities 

Bible -  Unit 11 - King Rehoboam to King Jehoram 

Memory -  Psalm 103: 14 - 16 (For  Friday May 1)

Reading -  40 Book Challenge, Text Connections

Art - String Art

PE - Running, Track, & Field: Trailblazer Meet is Wednesday, May 13 starting at 10:15 A.M. If you are interested in doing the high jump, it may be helpful for parents to take students to the Hesla track to practice as we are not able to practice this at school. We are planning to rent Hesla track a couple of times, but are waiting to hear back on those dates.

Monday, May 4 will be the Outdoor Classroom at Oak Grove sponsored by the Sioux County Soil and Water Conservation District. We will travel by bus with the 6th graders.

Our Class trip to Newton Hills is scheduled for May 15. Please have a bike ready to go along!

The All-School Picnic is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19 in the afternoon with a 2:30 dismissal that day.

Our last day is Wednesday, May 20.
