Northwest Iowa Christian School Tuition Organization
NICSTO is an organization representing multiple Christian schools across Northwest Iowa. It is designed to help offset the cost of tuition for qualifying families through donations. Donors to NICSTO are able to directly support our school but also receive a tax credit to offset the cost of their gift.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Our school receives a donation “goal” based on the number of enrolled students. When contributing funds to the program, donors indicate which school they wish to be the beneficiary of the donation. Around the beginning of the calendar year, those funds are sent to our school and used to directly benefit qualified families in the form of a tuition grant/credit.
WHO CAN DONATE TO NICSTO?
Any Iowa tax payer can donate to the program and there is no limit to the contribution amount. Please make your friends and family aware of NICSTO!
WHAT ARE THE TAX BENEFITS FOR DONORS?
As of early 2022, the tax credit amount remains at 75%. For example, if you give NICSTO $10,000 on behalf of HPRCS, you will receive an Iowa tax credit of $7,500. A portion of your gift may also be deductible on your federal tax return.*
WHAT IS OUR DONATION GOAL?
For 2022, the donation goal for HPRCS is $103,927. The past two years we have met the donation goal and we hope to do so again with your generous support.
HOW CAN I DONATE?
Please contact the school office at hullprcs@mtcnet.net or 712-439-2490 for a NICSTO donation form. Donors will receive a tax credit certificate to include with their tax forms.
AM I ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE TUITION GRANTS FROM NICSTO?
